I’m sitting in my gas powered SUV right now. At this time it’s a little hard to get gas but not too long of a wait. My neighbors with electric vehicles will not be able to go anywhere soon because their power is out.

The exception to the above are my neighbors with natural gas powered generators, they can charge their electric vehicles. I have one employee who has a Tesla power system and he is a double exception. He is running his house and charging his cars.

You have probably figured out that I am in Houston and it’s after the storm. I’ve been through a number of storms and this one was nut a big deal compared to other storms like Ike. What different is that so many people are without power. Something is not right because my subdivision has underground utilities as do other subdivisions nearby. I have no power but they do.

There is something off with the way they are turning back up the electric grid. I don’t know what’s going on but it will become news soon.

I’m down in Needville. I think I read where Ike (Cat 2) had fewer outages than Beryl (Cat 1). Odd.
