Indeed you are correct, however the incarceration of both Bannon and Navarro will have utility going forward. For more than 240 years we had a precedent of lines that were not crossed, we respected Attorney/Client privilege, Executive privilege, and there was an unspoken agreement on how far we would allow political differences to devolve.
That understanding is now dead. Going forward now we can set aside those old agreements, civility and understanding and get to the business of prosecuting and incarcerating the real enemies of our civil society.
The bureaucrats who would have us all drinking from the same water we piss in, and military raiding of grandparents who might hold an opposing viewpoint; our FBI, IRS, DOJ, ATF, CIA, EPA, et al — employees who elevate and ignore malfeasance by those they favor, while targeting and opening investigations on those they dislike — to sully their reputations, ruin them financially and destroy their families. This is the new playground for the government thugs.
With Trump they miscalculated. They thought they had his financial liquidity consumed by the BS “fraud” trial in NY, and on the very day the judge imposed the fine, Truth Social went public and essentially doubled Trump’s net worth. Just when Merchan was within days of sentencing Trump, SCOTUS issued a ruling that demonstrated the very judicial treachery evident in Merchan’s conduct and court room during Trump’s trial.
Fat Fani and her prosecutorial traveling sex-posse from South of the Mason Dixon line have all but been prosecuted themselves, rendering them prosecutorially-impotent to say the least.
And last but not least, the espionage trial in FL has taken a turn that could find Jack Smith stripped of his “Office of Special Counsel” and render him a private citizen goofball with significant legal exposure.
Same with Merrick Garland and his DC hive of credentialed scumbags.
I predict when that when the ‘get Trump’ dust settles there will be hell to pay, the likes of which these DC-dorks could have never imagined.
Yes incarceration, once the line that was never crossed, will become a super highway for the slime ridden DC apparatchiks who put themselves, their offices and their political preferences above the nation, our laws and our historical traditions.
