Im re-thinking my “joke” posting and have since read that the young males in these situations universally relate that their lives were forever altered for the worse from these encounters. I retract my joke post and will consider more carefully future responses. From all that I can tell, reading, these encounters follow the trope that sexual assaults’ by one person in greater power positions over another, are not arising from love and passion but a search for power over another, vulnerable person. The dynamic shouldn’t be seen as a relationship of any normal kind but abuse by a predator. Females in the predator role aren’t traditionally seen that way by the general public but perhaps that is changing?
What a grace-filled reply; thank you. Could be that the reason I’ve been sensitized to it is that I studied this topic for my grad thesis—and I’m the mother of a son. I was horrified at the aggressiveness of various females (and their trashy parents) towards him as soon as he was a teenager.
There is a contingent of men on FR who frequently post that they were fleeced in marriage and divorce, that the women they married took unfair advantage of them, that the courts favor the women unfairly, and in fact all women are this kind of evil. And I agree to a certain extent with many of them, having seen the sons of several of my friends get flayed and kept away from their children.
As a result, it astonishes me when some FR males are so enthused by the idea of illicit sex and initiation of a youth by an older woman that they simply can’t view predator pedo females the same way. Maybe it’s a different group of guys, IDK.
