Thank you very much and God bless you.

Cook County, Illinois says this, among others, was a big mistake and it will be remedied.

If one were to live in Newton County, Ga, the assessors office wouldn’t admit the mistake. They’d wait until you challenged your assessment and fight tooth and nail to not change it.

All while the county commission chairman and his friend, soon to be county district 3 commissioner, are under federal indictments for money laundering and fraud. He and his pals have been slowly but surely been changing the demographics in their image, mostly done be secret backroom deals. Allowing developers to do what they want to make sure certain folks move here.

Some, even some on here, will immediately think it’s racial. It isn’t. It’s all about culture.

My point….How are they doing it? Slamming the county residents with never ending property tax increases. The county is run by Democrats, sadly, so they are Team Biden. Illegals are welcome. School taxes have gone up 100-200% for some over the past few years, all while a lot folks don’t pay school taxes anymore. And the school system in the 20% percentile….160ish out of 201 systems

Harken back to a scene in Yellowstone where they have the billionaire developer in a noose. “We move to places like here, jacking up property values, raise property taxes and force them out”.

Happening all over the place. Georgia. Counties north of NYC, with Manhattan liberals taking over towns.

Catch-22 is that you can’t pay it, but you can’t sell the house and move, either. Who’d buy?

By law in Hawaii county they can only raise property values for taxation of living in house residents 3-5% per year.
Y’all need to fix your laws.

If I’m reading this right, California is even better than that.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1978_California_Proposition_13

Far too many corrupt politicians, at the state and county levels, to make such a bold move.
