Trump is just having political fun, after the “Great Biden debate debacle” of 2024.
He didn’t do anything unconstitutional or stretch the limits of the constitution in his first term & he won’t in his 2nd.
Trump pushes very hard, right up to the limits of Presidential Power but eventually concedes if lacking support on an initiative.
