Then there was an old timer I worked with decades ago who ran likker with his Indian motorcycle. He hauled 4 gallons in his saddlebags, claimed it would do a flat 100 MPH, ran in the dark, and could make a weeks wages on one run.

True... I didn't get into all of that earlier, but NASCAR has evolved muchly - like the NFL. 😒
