There is no way they wouldn’t have secured that roof. This was supposed to be a “let it happen” assassination followed by the first rule of assassination “kill the assassin”.
But Trump’s animated style of head movements and a gust of divine wind saved his life.
Gust of wind...breath of God?
The counter sniper on the roof, with what is said to be a spotter on the right, does not shoot until after the assassin shoots a few rounds at Trump. The counter sniper appears to flinch and draw his gun back and the spotter starts to back down. Full video clip at the X post below.
I cannot express my smoldering rage right now.
It looks to me like he flinched and even yanked his tripod backwards. Am I not seeing what I think Im seeing?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Axenolith!
Axenolith was trying to hide his birthday behind France's Bastille Day celebrations today.
But, I have it all. According to my intel, Axenolith has a weakness for a classic 2-layer chocolate cake with fruit filling. Oh and it says here he particularly likes buttercream frosting with "lots of frosting plant life on it."
And just look what I took out of the stone EZ Bake earlier today (some assembly required). It just happens to match the cake specifications which just happen to be Axenolith's (Birthday) kryptonite......coincidence?
Axenolith, I may have gone a little over board with the buttercream plant life, but I didn't hold back on the flowers because I promised the Fire Department that I would not put sparklers on it. I hope you enjoy your Birthday! :D
For the moment now I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt after watching closely.
The Sniper appears to be “glassing” (eyeballing something specific) to the left of where the shooter is. What that was could be important procedurally (vehicle? person? hot chick?) He most likely has the magnification dialed up to at or near maximum. The Field of view is tight at the shooters distance. It is VERY difficult to transfer from target A to B at that distance without removing your eyeball from the glass to look, or lowering the magnification to widen the field of view to transfer/find the new target.
I know this from shooting a scoped rifle sport (Field Target) at very small objects in a timed setting.
You can see him, probably at the cue of the second sniper/spotter or shouts of people, pull off what he is locked on, look to acquire a target, and physically move the rifle/tripod setup to a target that is to the right and lower.
It is the sniper to the right that appears to have had/made
aquisition and had the shot potential first (he has a rifle). I’d need to watch that in relation to the assassin fired shots because the order/timing of those shots are important in relation to how the roof team movements unfold.
I think that one of the roof team, probably #2 (right) had the assassin in view and possibly lined up before the incoming shots. #2 is probably the team member that made the kill, shooting the guy in the mouth and out the back of the base of his head/neck from the close up of the dead shooters head.
Freeze framing it, it does look like Team member A gets the cue a fraction of a second before the first shot. B doesn’t appear to be in the game through the shots, it may actually have been A that took the guy out. B looks like he’s actually trying to seek better cover in the brief period that they are actually in the field of view, but he could be going for a better prone position, or they may have a system that tasks the un-engaged of the pair seek other potential threats. Recall the old adage that plans are great until first contact is made...
