What on earth does that mean? The 5 months before an election are not a “transition”. Is Ivan Raiklin’s announcement about what he and “former military” are going to do in midsummer really going to happen? Or “other” stuff?

I hope it means that the transition from a devolved government back to a central government will occur in November. It makes me wonder if there’s something in the PEADs or about a devolved government that allows President Trump to assume office immediately once the results of the election are announced, as though he never left. The Constitution doesn’t allow for that, but it also didn’t contemplate the necessity for devolution. The Supreme Court has arguably already had their biggest year ever in terms of Constitutional rulings, and there may be much more work ahead for them once the start of devolution, exit from it, and measures/operations in between are confirmed.
