The whole thing is a compilation of opinions from a broad array of ostensibly
conservative groups, assembled by the Heritage Foundation. So far, I find
much of it on point, but with some of it betraying a decidedly GOPe aroma.

You nailed it, Easy, with the simple word “ostensibly”. The Heritage Foundation is a good organization, but we’ve learned the hard way that the wolves ALWAYS wear sheep’s clothing. The other side firmly believes in infiltration and has been very successful at it (Dan Crenshaw), so we should be wary of the aroma that stinks of GOPe. As Reagan said, “trust but verify” and, as we’ve all learned (the hard way), if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
