Chris Matthews said, that Trump said, that illegals are able to get social security benefits, and Medicare etc. Chris Matthews claims that is a lie. That is the only specific example of a claim that Trump lied that I have seen so far.
I didn’t realize that’s what Trump said. I thought he said that they’re ruining social security and medicare because they’re draining all of the money. I could be wrong though, but that’s what I took from it.
Hmm...MSN.com’s own “factcheck” about illegals and SS reveals that Trump was correct:
“Immigrants living in the country illegally are not eligible for Social Security retirement benefits, but those who entered the U.S. illegally before receiving temporary permission to stay may be eligible for Supplemental Security Income benefits if they meet certain criteria. SSI benefits are distributed to people who have little or no income or resources, a disability, blindness, or attained the age of 65 or older.”
Biden’s administration deliberately structured how it admits illegal aliens as “refugees” with “temporary permission to stay” so that they qualify for SSI. Some portion of these undoubtedly receive SSI, though I do not know how many. The Dems pretend that giving illegals SSI somehow has a different impact on the trust funds than Social Security “retirement” benefits. (I suspect that many other illegals get SS and Medicare via stolen identities).
When the babysitter walked Pedo Joe off the stage after last Thursday night’s debacle, she said, paraphrasing here, what did Trump say? Nothing but lies.
What did Nanshee Peloshi say? All he did was lie.
Many more waste stream/legacy media spokesmouths/newsreaders/propagandists said exactly the same thing - as reported elsewhere.
NOT A LIE!!! ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS GET HEALTH CARE!
not a lie
SSI is avail to those whose removal has been postponed, and California rolls out the red carpet of state benefits:
“Deportation is being withheld under Section 243(h) of the INA, as in effect before April 1, 1997; or removal is being withheld under Section 241(b)(3) of the INA...”

regarding California specifically:
“... California has opened up government programs to undocumented residents more than any other state — issuing driver’s licenses, college scholarships, low-income tax credits, direct cash aid during the pandemic and now Medi-Cal health coverage. In 2025 California will be the first state to issue food stamps to undocumented immigrants, allowing those 55 and older to qualify....Medi-Cal began covering undocumented children in 2018 and adults up to age 26 in 2020. Last May, older undocumented immigrants like Huerta became eligible. She is one of nearly 350,000 who have signed up for full, state-funded coverage. ...Next January coverage will open to low-income immigrants of all ages; an estimated 700,000 will be eligible. The full-fledged expansion will cost $2.6 billion a year....A bill introduced this year would give undocumented residents access to the Cash Assistance Program for Immigrants, a state-funded benefit created for elderly and disabled residents who don’t qualify for Social Security because federal law bars most noncitizens....”

“Can undocumented workers apply for State Disability Insurance (SDI)?
Yes, as long as you are paying into the California State Disability Insurance fund you can apply. Citizenship and immigration status do not affect eligibility. The Employment Development Department will NOT ask for proof of citizenship. “

I’m not versed on what federal benefits are allowed for minors, but ancedotally, it seems a common complaint of Calif minors is to claim mental disabiliies such as ‘anxiety’ or ‘ptsd’ to obtain some sort of extra benefits. Someone else may be able to add to/contradict that assumption.
