The AP fact check needs a fact check.

On March 1, 1954, Lolita Lebron and several other Puerto Rican terrorists, while inside the Capitol, opened gunfire and wounded several lawmakers and congressmen.

Another aspect of the "deadly assault" on the Capitol lie is that the only people who died that day were three or four Trump supporters: one unarmed woman shot almost point-blank by police; one unarmed woman bludgeoned by police and trampled when panic broke out when teargas was launched into a confined area; and one or two who died of medical emergencies.

The "deadly assault" line is DELIBERATELY used to suggest that it was Trump supporters who killed a number of people on that day.

Well it sounds like nobody in 1954 was killed. On Jan. 6th two of the “insurrectionists” were dead at the end of the day.
