Thanks for posting. Horrible disease. I’ve witnessed it in family and dear friends. Condolences to all who have cared for and seen loved ones pass on via Alzheimer disease.
We have dear neighbors across the street. We moved in at the same time in 1983. The husband got Alzheimers and it was awful to watch. He died a year ago at age 92. He used to be strong and healthy, doing all the yard work every week without fail. Then his strength waned and he began using a walker on their daily walks. Then the walks got shorter and shorter, eventually ending. His memory loss was gradual. He would ask the same question several times in a few minutes. At the end, he didn’t even know his own wife.
