Honestly, the idea of an earpiece makes no sense.

Biden doesn’t have the bandwidth it would take to:
Stand
Speak
Comprehend

and
Listen to someone giving him hints in an earpiece.

I commented about this on the main debate thread.

The bottom of the ear lobe (lobule) drops below where the ear connects to the head, and has a small gap between the bottom of the ear and the head. As we get older, our skin and cartilage show it and shrink, the basic shape of the ear does not change.

Biden's right ear lobe was lower than his left and goes straight into the head, no drop below where the ear joins the head. You can see this in the debate stream as he turns his head.

And that is just his ear, not everything else that showed Biden was not fit to get on that stage.
