They neglected to note that there is in progress a strong westerly Sahara dust flow across the Atlantic, hot dry dusty air which tends to suck moisture out of the prevailing winds, thus likely to suppress hurricane formation at least in the South Atlantic. This is not uncommon this time of year, Fox should be aware of it . But I guess it just doesn’t fit the narrative.

The potential for forecasters to correctly forecast the weather is zero percent on a yearly basis. Even with all the tech available to them, forecasting the future isn’t possible.
