Why the hell are they still playing ice hockey in the summer? There should be no ice hockey after the vernal equinox—just as there should be no college football after New Years Day and no major league baseball after Halloween.
Because people are addicted to sports.
It may have something to do with figuring out how to make ice year around and play indoors. Just a guess.
