The United States was created on July.4th, 1776. That is why President Trump started the 1776 project. US History begins on THAT date.

The US came from somewhere. It did not magically appear in 1776. It has roots. Those roots begin in Jamestown in 1607.

Kinda yes. But this is not a bad video. One hell of a lot of bad ideas were tried in that 169 years before July 4th 1776.
Those mistakes and bad ideas heavily informed our founders for the correct course we should take in July 1776.

Nothing wrong with learning all we can about 1607 up to 1776. To me it can make us appreciate July 4, 1776 that much more.

The Founding Fathers had almost 170 years of colonial history (with self-government starting as early as 1619) to draw on—without that experience they could not have created a successful Republic. Look at how much less success the former Spanish colonies had after independence because they lacked the experience of self-government (and ideas about government brought from England).
