He should have gotten a bigger boat.
They made him walk the plank.
Sharks just look at all those certifications and laugh at you. Imagine its a Bass Pro event. The better you can modulate through the water, the more of a challenge it is for them. Its a food chain thing and you’re never gonna win this one.
Wasn’t that on the East Coast?
“Wasn’t that on the East Coast?”
Coast schmost, when you need a bigger boat, you need a bigger boat.
Its a food chain thing and you’re not at the top!..............
Jet skis, plural. Big sharks off Oahu.
Shark attack or having to listen to Pedo Joe drone on about anything for 3 minutes. Bring on the shark please.
Chief Brody was right. They DID need a bigger boat.
Yikes! I have been 20 min drive from the beach my entire life in California but NEVER go because of how cold the water it is — yet LOVED swimming in the warm Pacific waters of Hawaii and Mexico as a child...Even Tahiti. (Enjoy a bit of Atlantic too on Florida coast.) — To this day, I only enjoy warm ocean but now I am afraid to even step foot due to all the shark attacks?! Even Trump talked about shark attacks during a speech over the weekend. Has there truly been an increase?
Sounds like a Tiger Shark.
Fairly common around Hawaii.
>how cold the water it is
That’s what wetsuits are for. You even get to pee in them to warm up. Now you know why divers are smiling.
Bear attacks are more common, but they don’t get the press a shark attack does. It’s the ‘JAWS’ effect................
That's correct
When Are Sharks Likely to Attack in Hawaii
having said that, I know a guy who grew up in Hawaii, and he was attacked by a hammerhead shark. Gave him a gash on his lower leg, but otherwise got away fine.
He also went to same high school as Obama at about the same time. Said the "choom gang" stuff - all true. Obama was known as a good basketball player - and a total pothead.
**Bear attacks are more common,**
Oh really?! I can’t recall any stories of a bear attacking a surfer. ;)
That said, I’ve never heard of a gun saving a surfer that’s being attacked.
Have the media started the it’s so “rare” thing yet?
