Agreed. Good job of getting a rusty one cleaned up and back into use. I rescued a square Lodge pan from my late father-in-law’s garage. I soaked it in white vinegar overnight, then easily scrubbed it clean. Seasoned it well with bacon grease and placed it in the oven for a few hours. Good as new! I ordered a square lid from Lodge for 19.99 and that set-up is my go-to frying pan.
I also have a pre-Lodge cornbread pan that has like 8 connected little boats for separate cakes. Perfect if you like crust.
The square pans are so great for bacon. Or making cornbread in the oven.
