Just for giggles, I weighed some Lodge pans that were handy.
8” Frying pan - 5 pounds 2-1/4 oz
10” Frying pan - 5 pounds 5-5/8 oz
12” Frying pan - 7 pounds 13-3/8 oz
My guess is that this guy had a 10”.
Correction - the 8 “ is 3 pounds 2-1/4 oz
Sounds reasonable. And a good choice by him with 10” giving a nice blend of agility and stopping power.
