Can you cite a nation that is more “righteous” than the United States?
The United States government is operating illegally, not the majority of the American people. Kind of like the Mafia that is ensconced in a community.
But the United States is mentioned in Isaiah.
Might just be a turn of phrase (raining cats and dogs), or literal (the rare instances of raining frogs).
Is it a metaphor for swift flight from Egypt (fly originally meant to run swiftly, as swift as a bird)?
Is it a literal flight on an aircraft (with US origins/markings)?
I choose to hope we help the side of good in some fashion as best we can at a critical juncture.

So you can accuse Jesus of fear porn all you want. Let us know how it works out for you in the end.
I suppose you'd accuse Noah, Lot, Jonah, Jeremiah, etc of spreading fear porn when they warned others of impending judgment.

However, my suspicion is that the US has become so impotent and meaningless on the world stage, that it’s no longer a factor with Israel, although I do give some credence to the idea that Israel being taken away on eagle’s wings COULD be an allusion to the US doing an airlift to rescue Jewish people.
Maybe it's just me, but that's not exactly promising.

So very true! And after those days, when the Lord Jesus Christ returns, having destroyed those who war against Israel, He will judge the nations as to how they treated Israel.
And upon that Judgement, MANY shall find that “replacement theology” originated from the pits of hell!!

I am under the firm impression that the USA will not be a player in world events when that event happens. The nation will either be destroyed by geographical disasters (earthquakes, volanic eruptions, etc) or by societal decay and internal strife, both of which we see happening now.
