The difference of 2 percent is not significant unless the study is of thousands of patients. The article did not mention the number of patients. It may be a good article of good science or not?

I had heart surgery, replacement of my aortic valve and proximal aorta. I had several units of blood given. Blood is full of amino acids. This article is most lacking in details. Without details of the procedure, and the patients this article is worthless though it may be correct which I suspect it is not.
