The Church Age Is Winding Down–And The World Is Running Out Of Time

Time flies. Years race by. But, 2024 has been a stunner in many ways. And many events remind me that the world is running out of time before the last act of a major drama plays out. In other words, the Church Age is winding down.

Let me highlight ten events from this current year that have convinced me of this.

Any Christian telling another to not worry the rapture will take you away before real persecutions is failing completely. Christ literally warns us to expect real and harsh persecution when we take up his cross.

There is a huge difference between the pedestrian tribulations we experience here--or even the tribulations some experience that can result in death--and the Great Tribulation which is God's Wrath poured down upon earth.

God will not pour His Wrath upon His Bride. The rapture will come before that.

Now, whether it is before the 7 years, or the middle of the 7 years, I do not know. I can see arguments on both sides, though I lean towards the pre-Trib, rather than the mid-Trib, personally.

I sometimes wonder if there was an Abraham like deal made here years ago and somehow the agreed upon number of righteous souls was found and His Wrath was turned away for a time.

And now I wonder when our time is up.

I am simply stating that anyone who states we can avoid persecution is speaking falsely, that al;so includes the idea we can use the rapture to avoid it, if anything you are showing a prideful making claims of my statement that are simply not being made by me to make your own point.

I am not saying the rapture will not take the saints out I am only saying it is bad doctrine to think we can avoid persecution.

I am actually a pre trip belief but I refuse to let it become a crutch and prefer to put my faith in entirely in Christ to carry my through.

TO many focus on the Rapture and a pending end time event and allow that focus to minimize their witness and acts of faith through service, we need to stop playing “Heaven’s Gate” games and just go about our Lord’s work, NO ONE KNOWS THE TIME BUT THE FATHER!

Also you are the very person I would avoid, making a doctrinal issue and insulting other Christians on matters that can be debated honestly and do not impact salvation. You sir are demonstrating a spirit of strife and deception with such acrimonious name calling and accusations.

I never stated nor implied “dont try and float the turd that intense fatal persecution hasn’t been with us since saul.” per your quote, in fact my post supports the opposite in that I am actually stated we are and will continue to be persecuted and harshly at that!

I called no one a called not implied it, you are literally putting words to me post that cannot be born out of it, that is a very dark thing you are doing.

Even *I* have already seen things that last fall I would not have quite expected - still, just looking at the years since Israel was reborn and Jerusalem recaptured (and 1/2 given back immediately) there are obviously things in play.

BUT....people generally adopt a wait-and-see attitude. Which I can understand. But once the Day is upon us, it’s too late even for speculation.
