“The Dark Reader” sounds ominous.

I absolutely hate Google’s influence on software interfaces. Whoever thought of light gray font on white should be shot in the face.

It seemed to slow down my browser a little.

Thank you. I’ve been needing this for 25 years for FR.

On an iPad you can make grey text on a white background darker by
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Increase Contrast > Darken Colors.

Dark setting is an option on all browsers that I know of. Just look in the settings.

I've been looking for a "dark mode" for my browsers, and I've tried a half dozen or more. And while this one seems to look pretty cool, and the one thing it doesn't do (like many others), is change the color of the link use it's been accessed.
Like here on FR, in regular mode, the title of the article changes colors to a darker blue (I think, I'm colorblind!) after I click on it. Using Dark Reader, the title does not change colors so I have to revert it back to normal to see what I've clicked on.
There is only one extension that changes the colors like that and that one is Super Dark Mode, but there are other aspects of that extension that are weird.
