Panda breeding center? That sounds like a frustrating place to work.
26 to 61? Rather old for such stupidity. After looking up other articles, it seems that some parents let their children throw bread and a bottle of water into the enclosure, so the parents are banned in place of the children. Just a guess though. A man spat water at a panda, so some so-called adults are definitely nguilty of their own childish behavior. So far, the other articles indicated that the people were Chinese with no mention of foreigners involved.
So, a year and a half ago, The Boy and I are spending a few days in “The Vacation Capital of the World” Fargo North Dakota.
Interspersed with trips to Bemidji MN and New Essington SD, we paid a visit to the world wide famous/ regional/statewide/neighborhood (nuisance) Fargo Zoo.
Well, folks, The Boy threw a snowball at a ram.
To hear him tell it, I did it first and then hectored him into doing it too, even going so far as to call his manhood into question and berate him with a bunch of homo-phobic slurs. I don’t recall if that’s accurate or not, all though it’s possible, I’ve done much worse.
So, anyways, the long and the short, if you ever go to the the Fargo Zoo and see The Boy and my pictures up by the entrance window with “DO NOT EVER ADMIT” written on it, it was 100% The Boy’s fault.
You know, something like Florida Man but in China.
Luoyang Man or some such.
With a billion people their idiots have GOT to be better than ours. Stands to reason.
About like the yahoos at Yellowstone..
I’ve been to a half-dozen Chinese zoos and they’re ALL a disaster. Trash everywhere. One exhibit was an enclosed lions pen with what appeared to be a moat around the lion’s “island”. The moat was filled with trash, as if the visitors were actually throwing trash at the lion.
The only exhibit that wasn’t depressing was the hordes of feral cats roaming the zoo, at will.
