The more pressure they used, the more determined I was not to take it. If it was so great they wouldn’t need to use pressure.

I was not anti-vaccine for most of my life. Prior to COVID, if my doctor told me I was due for a measles or tetanus shot, or whatever, I'd say go ahead and stick it in me. In retrospect, I was wrong to be so trusting of the medical community. Especially as my health has greatly improved by going against their generic dietary advice, which is a whole other topic that gets my blood boiling.
For instance, I was able to come off my high blood pressure medication simply by changing my diet. My doctor would have had me taking those pills for the rest of my life and had zero inclination to help me get off them.
Everybody must be their own health advocate these days. You simply cannot trust doctors. They are in league with the pharmaceutical industry and have no vested interest in your good health. Their collective aim is to keep prescribing more and more medications, thus keeping you as a regular customer.
