I am off today for this holiday quite unexpectedly. We got the word late Monday afternoon that the company would be observing this holiday and closing om Wednesday. Party on!

My corporation started pandering after the Floyd riots and made it a full company holiday. It quietly went back to a secondary holiday this year, which means most will work and get a comp day for later.
My daughter, who was born on June 19, is grateful that she can now party hearty on her day without having to take a personal day. She works remotely, so her first order of business is to sleep in.
