The man accused of wrecking a semi along a highway in Colorado last week, killing one person and injuring another, is an illegal immigrant who has a long history of removal from the United States, authorities said.
Ignacio Cruz-Mendoza, 47, of Mexico, is facing reckless driving and homicide-related charges in connection with the June 11 crash.
Mendoza was hauling a load of steep pipe on Hwy 285 near Conifer when he lost control of the semi, sending it rolling onto its side as it veered off the road, Colorado State Patrol (CSP) said.

He has been deported or agreed to voluntarily self-deport SIXTEEN TIMES before. A same nation would have had him shot or thrown in a dark dungeon by the 8th time.

Looks like the carrier is just as good as the driver.

Great question. Here in Washington state, they get truck driving jobs on the big farms for trucking between the fields and the farms as that is exempt from those laws.

Of the many things we could do is go after these companies. But obviously not as important as enforcing the laws we have already.

An illegal causes a semi to crash killing one. Is anyone shocked? I hope the company gets sued out of business.
