Making the seating capacity smaller is a stupid way to do MLB’s business. You don’t encourage people to become fans by limiting the seating and pricing them out of it.
That's why the games are for gamblers nowadays. They don't care that ordinary fans are no longer interested.
It’s all about tv money. Like Miami, they don’t care if anyone shows up. They get paid anyway. Lose the team, lose the tv money.
