The bedrock of US strategic relations since Nixon was “do not drive Russia and China together.” Kissinger and Brzezinski (who especially was not a friend of Russia) warned this constantly.

This was US strategic fear even when China was militarily and economically weak.

US neocons, the MIC and their Democrat friends abandoned this policy at a time when China has become a peer economic, military and technological power, and Russia has reformed and recovered from its post-Soviet collapse.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Years ago I posted here we needed to team up with Russia before Russia teamed up with China against us. Of course, flak.

Stupid, stupid, stupid.

Our foreign policy is being run by international arsonists.

They find a small fire somewhere in the world, then they start pouring gasoline on it.
