Think about it though...
Who’s actually been stealing more? The thief, or the state and their incessant taxes?
When I worked at a N. VA. general store $11,000 would buy 2037 CARTONS of Marlboroughs.
If you smoked a pack a day $11,000 worth of smokes would last a little under 56 years... You WOULDN’T BE DONE WITH THEM YET! ARF!!!
Its mind boggling that a guy can carry $11,000 worth of cigarettes now.
2037 cartons? That’s some spendy smoke right thar. Back in the 60’s, going to school at U of Idaho, smokes cost 5 bucks a carton in Oregon, cheaper than Idaho. When kids learned I was going to Oregon they would load me up with 5 dollar bills to bring them cartons of Oregon smokes. The Hog saddlebags held about 20 cartons so I would have had to make 110 trips to spend 11,000$ for them. I’d still be in school? I might have been the only cigarette runner in the Northwest? Probly not as risky as one of my old friends who used his Big Indian to run likker?
