Logic and reason will never stop a person driven by their feelings, excuses and rationalization.
Only after such a person makes their mistakes will it possibly be admitted they were wrong, but only if they are willing to honestly acknowledge the truth. Many people cannot do this.
This is why some people won’t listen to people to do/not do certain things. These people have to go through it to possibly finally see their folly. Even if it kills other people.
Having lived this long, i’ve never met anyone that truly understood the concept of fire until holding a lighted match to the point where SONOFABITCH, fingers were burned.
Telling them beforehand makes no difference.
