“especially after the initial battery starts going bad an/or starts failing to hold a charge.”

Tesla batteries last 300k to 400k miles.

Testimonials?

Has anybody ever driven a Tesla battery for that kind of mileage? Advertising always will get you the best results ever, but, actual driving with actual everyday drivers, are the best testimonials.

And, don't just point to one or several Tesla drivers. Surveys are best when a large group is questioned, and the vehicles themselves have been observed to perform as you indicated.

My wife has an older lady that works for her that has a hybrid and an EV that her grown liberal daughters insisted her and her husband buy. Both are Fords and both were bought new and have been in the dealership for repairs more than half of the time they have owned them.

The lady told my wife they are trading them both as soon as they can find the gas powered vehicles they want and never going back.

Says who? Tesla? Then have them put it in writing, in warranty form!
