Labour are launching their manifesto for the 4 July general election, focusing on economic growth
They promise it to be the most pro-growth administration in history!

Labour’s manifesto puts Sir Keir Starmer front and centre. The cover is a stark photo of Starmer with one word: Change.
In fact I count 34 photos if him on its 135 pages.
The Conservative manifesto didn’t have any photos of Rishi Sunak. Indeed it had no photos at all.
What they should be is anti-immigrant (Mooselimb).
That’ll never happen though he (their leader) says he wants to see immigration numbers “coming down”
I agree though it makes a mockery of what he says about working people (he is speaking now)
Starmer is speaking now
He says people need affordable homes, children need greater access to healthcare and dentistry and his plan will do that.
New laws to smash the people smuggling gangs, 500,000 new teachers so children can get an education. Great British Energy (a new corporation) to ensure people have affordable energy
“I dont believe in raising taxes on people when we’re in a cost of living crisis”
“We will not raise income tax, payroll tax or VAT (sales tax)”
Sorry that’s 6500 new teachers
He is speaking very fast
“We’re pro business and pro-worker, the party of wealth creation!”
Says growth is their #1 priority
He says he will build 1.5 million affordable homes over the next 5 years
“We need a new generation of technical excellence colleges so we can guarantee every young person a work placement”
OK he’s finished. He spoke very fast and not on autocue
A few things he mentioned he didn’t expand on like a new race equality act or action on “climate change”
