Some of my friends who wear brightly colored jerseys believe that it makes them more visible on the road. Given how much people dislike cyclists, I think it makes them good targets.;-)
BTW, I only ride my road bike (and mountain bike) at a local state park. No cars...and very few hikers.
Sounds like the safe way to ride...
It bothers me to see several bikers riding together side by side on two lane (one each direction)...I’ve been backed up behind 4-5 cars trying to get by them before...Frustrating to say the least...
