Sometimes you have to address these things. Can’t sweep them under the rug. Hunter gets off and they’ll confirm the laptop didn’t exist. We say it did and they change the subject. It will then be behind us.
He (Hunter) probably does have 'corpses (metaphorically, or...) of children in his basement'...but like Bill Clinton and BJ's our brave Republicans decided to go after something most folks don't give a damn about.
Of course, as society stands today...most folks probably wouldn't care about the 'corpses of children in his basement' either.
