The forecast here in NH for next week is hitting 90.
That is pretty warm for June.
I’m in Upstate NY. It’s 58...second day in a row.
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Heatwave!
Ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh
Heatwave!
Sometimes I stare into space
Tears all over my face
I can’t explain it, don’t understand it
I ain’t never felt like this before
Now this funny feeling has me amazed
Don’t know what to do, my head’s in a haze
It’s like a heatwave
Burnin’ in my heart (it’s like a heatwave)
I can’t keep from cryin’ (it’s like a heatwave)
It’s tearin’ me apart

I had no idea all those years that Heatwave was a Brit band.
“I did a short term consulting gig for a hedge fund manager about 22 years ago. The gig was on the NY/CT border (actually in Westchester County). It was 106oF during a good part of that two week period. T”
I was trying to recall when that happened before. I think it happened in the late ‘80s or early ‘90s as well.
Boo hoo!
- Everyone in God’s oven in south Texas (where we’ve been pre-heating at 98-102 for most of the last 3 weeks).
Sheesh, the hot stuff isn’t even going to be here for a month or so, ya sissies.
Back around 1985, one of my brothers went to New Hampshire for several weeks over the summer to learn Spanish in a very intensive course. When we went to pick him up, it was 106°. It gets hot in the summer, it shouldn’t be news.
WUT! Call out the national guard with giant fans!
