All those archers, primitive as can be, but the White guy is the only on with no loincloth. What’s that about?
Maybe his was in the laundry.

I thought the same thing but it might be he is wearing white shorts? There seems to be a light line on the thigh?

Or he was enjoying ‘going native’ as he first met them. Or was he actually held captive by them? Slavery?

I was thinking, he lived there for six months. If he swam ashore and they greeted him they would recognize and know him and visa versa but the film makes out like ‘oh we didn’t know he was so important’.

They had to know he was, he prob told them but also they knew he had their boats, sculpture’s transported off the island which should have told them he had some importance. I saw those at the Met, btw. There was a definite creepy air to the whole exhibit and though I specifically wanted to see it, traveling from Phoenix I could not stay in that room. The feeling from that exhibit still bothers me.
