A mechanism has been found to describe why people with gout often have high triglycerides. It appears high triglycerides can cause your gout problem.

Interestingly, your high urate/gout condition can encourage high blood pressure and diabetes.

From a separate study, I want to note that high blood insulin can cause high blood pressure in diabetics, due to a problem high insulin causes in which it blocks nitric oxide release, which is a common way our bodies lower blood pressure.

I only add that because there are sometime chains of consequences that by targeting closer to the root cause, you can mitigate most all the succeeding issues.

Unfortunately, it’s hard to know which problem was is the actual start of your chain of consequences.

Hyperuricemia is too much uric acid in the blood. Medical science, including this article, blame the liver, the organ which produces the uric acid, and not the kidneys, the organ responsible for clearing the uric acid. I suspect that different patients have different causes.
