That is what I understand. He crossed the lines and became wihout protection under the law.
As far as I know, he crossed the line legally.
“That is what I understand....As far as I know, he crossed the line legally.”
Ohhhh, now wait just a minute. You said it was a fact. Not “as I understand”, not “it seems” etc.
You said Alex Jones accused the parents of being part of a plot to slaughter their children to advance gun control.
LOL... he should come after you for slander.
Here’s why I have an issue with Alex Jones, in this case he caused his own harm, The judgement was excessive, what he said about Sandy Hook was repulsive and is not protected by the 1A.
About a week ago Alex Jones went on a tirade about the government illegally attempting to shut him down and seize his assets, which is extremely misleading and bordering on outright lies.
When you file bankruptcy, you basically give up control of your assets, in this case Alex Jones filed bankruptcy on his business and his personal assets, in which case he no longer controls either.
The Bankruptcy Trustee can legally shut you down, change the locks on your business and keep you from operating, his job is to liquidate the assets for the benefit of the creditors.
Even if it’s a chapter 11 bankruptcy, the creditors have to agree with the debtor on a plan to repay the debts, if no plan can be agreed upon, the creditors can force a liquidation of the assets.
What I object to about Alex Jones is he lumped himself into the plight of Donald Trump, the 1/6 protestors and others like Peter Navarro and Steve Bannon, all of whom have suffered from the lawfare of the government, Alex Jones tried to make himself into a martyr and it takes away from real cases of lawfare.
