Zero. This is Jonty’s point. Those 51 former intel officials never said outright that the laptop was planted by the Russians. They were too clever to do that, because that would be a complete lie. They said it “had all the earmarks (those idiots were too stupid to use the correct word -‘hallmarks’) of a Russian information operation” and never offered any proof. It was Joe Biden who later used that letter to deflect Trump’s accusation in the debate in October 2020, saying “There are 50 former national intelligence folks who said that what he’s accusing me of is a Russian plan. They have said this is, has all the — four, five former heads of the CIA, both parties say what he’s saying is a bunch of garbage.” That was a lie, but one that the media continued to repeat.
