Alex Jones would have been foolish if he did anything that even remotely resembled illegal activity. If Jones did so, the Feds would be on him like white on rice. The goal of the proceedings was to bankrupt Jones and Infowars. I would not be surprised if the the Democrats will use the legal system to go after other enemies such as Tucker Carlson, Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, and any others who do not go along with the narrative and stray outside the window of acceptable opinion.
