The lawsuit was not spontaneous; it was orchestrated with Deep State assistance. The law firm that represented the survivors, Koskoff, Koskoff & Biede, has had a long association with the Democratic Party. The founder of the firm, Theodore Koskoff, represented Black Panther Lonnie McLucas, who was charged with kidnapping and conspiracy in the 1970s. The law firm's partners have consistently contributed to Democrats on both the state and national levels. Chris Mattei, who represented the Sandy Hook plaintiffs, ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic nomination for Connecticut Attorney General in 2018. The purpose of the lawsuit was to shut down Alex Jones and his Infowars operations, as was admitted by one of the attorneys representing the litigants.

Even if Jones did claim that the Sandy Hook shooting was hoax and that the parents were crisis actors, how were the survivors adversely affected? Remember that Sandy Hook is located in Fairfield County, one of the most affluent counties in the country. It has voted Democrat in Presidential elections since 1996, with Biden carrying the county by 27 percentage points in 2020. Republicans in the Nutmeg State are by and large quite liberal, e.g. Lowell Weicker. In 2012, the audience for InfoWars in Fairfield County was likely negligible. The judgment of $1.5 billion was extremely out of proportion to any harm done by a broadcaster who had little influence in the area where the survivors lived.

What happened to Jones is an example of the lawfare later used against Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, other Trump associates, and Trump himself. The bottom line is that the Democrats are basically communists and that they are using their power in Washington and blue states like Connecticut and New York to destroy their opposition. Keep in mind that the 2024 Presidential election is about five months away. Bankrupting Alex Jones, imprisoning Steve Bannon, going after the publisher Epoch Times are not isolated incidents.

If we learned anything from the events around Watergate a half century ago, it is that a lot of corruption exists behind the scenes, not reported until the main players are dead or of advanced age. The mainstream media cranks out a narrative to fit their game plan, which was the removal of Richard Nixon from the White House. John Dean, a sleazy lawyer and patron of prostitutes, becomes this earnest young man who slipped a little bit. His wife, Maureen Dean, a former party girl and close friend of Heidi Rykan, a Washington madam with ties to the Mafia, becomes this quiet little wife, supportive of her husband.

As in 1974, so in 2024. The MSM and certain "moderate Republicans" push a story line the American public is supposed to accept.
