FWIW, WMAR provided extensive coverage in Maryland during yesterday’s outbreak. The utube maxvelocity channel also covered it. However, I doubt very many people were informed of the outbreak via these channels. I would imagine that the EBS system was activated but that assumes that people have radios and/or local tv turned on otherwise they’ll miss the alerts. Cell alerts may have been issued too. Dunno.

I was asleep, from allergies. Woke up about 7 pm. No one was talking about tornados when I laid down.

I was watching the Weather Channel last evening where they provided continuous coverage with no commercials on the Maryland tornadoes, as long as they observed an active tornado in the area. Very sorry to hear there was a death.
