I think Clemenceau deserves more credit for creating Hitler, than Wilson.
WWI had ground to a stalemate. There was going to be a peace treaty like in all of Europe’s previous titanic conflicts.
But Wilson tricked the US into getting involved and the consequences were disastrous.
