(Why do I always seem to see pilots pull the nose up when going into a stall???)
A few have.
Like the copilot on Air France 447.
Without proper airflow over the wings, an aircraft cannot possibly fly.
Unless it’s an F-15 that can stand on its tail and accelerate straight up.
How many hours to to trainee’s have to hand fly airplanes when they are in school?
I watch Air Disasters and I have seen at least a half a dozen times where pilots pitched up right after a stick shaker. The instinct should be the exact opposite.
I would rather have a pilot with military pilot experience in any plane I’m flying in. It may not be as true as it used to be because a lot of military aircraft are heavily automated now too, but I believe they get a lot more training with manual control
