What would “defecting” even mean for a private citizen without any government position or access to state secrets? Wouldn’t this just be a highly negatively emotionally charged way of saying “moving to another country”?
“Was Ritter thinking of defecting to Russia?”
If he was, does that allow the US Government to stop him from leaving? I’m getting rather confused here - the America that I grew up in NEVER had a problem with an American LEAVING the US for any reason, providing they weren’t fleeing from the Justice System, which does not appear to be the case here.
Is the US more like the Soviet Union than I ever knew of?
Biden thinks that we are at war and he has war powers.
After all Russia got Trump elected, invaded Ukraine for no rhyme or reason, and sells oil when we say they can’t. BTW we froze their overseas assets. So sticking it to an American Citizen who disagrees with Cho Bae Dung is allowed. The hippies were right, make love not war Man. And now for something completely different did anyone see Cho’s Mr Sardonicus grin as he didn’t take questions leaving the podium the other day. Very Creepy even for Cho.
Appears it was not a direct flight to Russia, but a flight via Dubai. He should have just flown to Dubai and ordered the flight to Saint Petersburg when in Dubai.
He must have ordered in the US the entire flight, meaning the US intelligence were also illegally spying on an American citizen.
He wrongly assumed the Biden regime would not go as far as to pull a citizen off a flight and revoke their passport,
