That’s really nice to know. But I’m not surprised. I don’t think he got his great job by being prejudiced in his hiring practices or other functions. In my experience, the higher. you go, the the more merit-based you are. My Japanese friend’s sister recently became some extremely high-level exec at J.P. Morgan Chase.
There's also another factor at work here. This 'Indian guy' was born in America and grew up here. He's 100% Americanized. That's why to him, merit is the only consideration. He hired myself and my coworker because we are freakin' amazing. :)
