Stop worrying. Non Human intelligences have always been here. Are they from some other solar system? Are they from ours? Or are they from here?
In 4.5 billions years, how many civilizations could have arisen on Earth, given that we can only trace ours back 10,000 years at most?
Where’s the evidence? Only 10% of Earth’s oceans have been explored, there are vast tracks of forest all around the world that have seen no human. A sufficiently old civilization would have seen the very earth it was built on subducted, leaving no trace. Other evidence may have been found but discarded as some thing else, like the diopter ground lenses made of crystal or glass from Old Kingdom Egypt in museums labeled jewelry.
The evidence may be hiding in plain sight, but because we are repeatedly told we are the ‘pinnacle of evolution’, we cannot ‘see’ it.
Yep. Arrogance is always a problem when it comes to seeing new discoveries.
