Frontier is a wannabe Spirit Airlines too. Charged me $25 because I checked in at the counter and not online. They weren’t very nice at the counter either. Then again prolly deal with lotta low class passengers too. I hate the whole process of airports/airlines.
It’s just not worth it, I’ll stick to American Airlines, thank you very much. They aren’t perfect, but it’s a much more pleasant experience.
I couldn’t agree more - despise the entire process of having to take off my shoes, having my personal things rifled through, be irradiated in the governments radiation machine - and then getting patted down, which seems to happen to me every time I fly somewhere - happened on my latest trip, apparently there was something in my hair that necessitated an entire body pat down. My son had to empty the contents of his wallet, spread out on a table - and then he too was patted down.
If it wasn’t for family living across the country from me, I’d never fly again. I’ve told my family to NEVER book me on Spirit, Frontier or SunCoast airlines - only the larger carriers like American.
