Funny, no mention of the 2 in 10 democrats who are now going to vote for Trump.
In pretty much all elections, 10% of GOP voters vote Democrat, and 10% of Dem voters vote GOP. There is nothing new in this.
The question asked matters.
If a voter was 90% likely to vote Trump, and now 10% of them are less likely, perhaps that means they are now 89% sure. That means they still vote Trump.
10% is about right in this. But these media people are living in the past. The two “major parties” no longer are. Polling makes clear both are 27% of the electorate. They are fringe parties.
Independents are 45%+ of the electorate.
This poll sampled 2% of the electorate — 10% of 27%.
